Jaco is the nearest beach from San Joaquin Heredia, it's approximately a 1.5 hr drive. Once you’re on the coast side, you can visit other beaches like: Playa Hermosa, Quepos, among others. There is also Manuel Antonio, which is one Costa Rica’s most famous national parks.

This beautiful town offers some of the best Restaurants and Breweries around the metropolitan area. Probably San Jose’s coolest neighborhood. Located 40 min away from San Joaquin.
Must try stops: Cafeoteca, Franco, DOMA, Apotecario, Nativo, Soberanos, among others.
