Doune antiques centre has a really nice cafe, great food, service and surroundings. A wander around the antiques centre is highly recommended to see if you can find ay treasures, which of they're many.

Days out
Well worth a visit, the distillery has a fabulous gift shop with a wide range of whisky. Tours are available and the cafe is wonderful, home cooked and plentiful. Booking recommended.

Have fun at the unique waterpark wipeout challenge on idyllic Loch Ard. The Waterpark Wipeout is a great day out for the whole family, jump into the loch and master the assault course. Feel the exhilaration and enjoy the challenge.
The Waterpark is open June through October and booking is required.

They have a cafe and small indoor play frame suitable for children up to age 7. The cafe serves light lunches, coffees and delicious home-baking, all made on the premises.

There’s loads to do at Briarlands to keep your wee ones entertained, from jumping pillows to football golf; tractor and trailer rides to archery. They also have sessions for petting guinea pigs and rabbits, and feed available for purchase for some of the other farm animals around the Farm Park.

The striking keep-gatehouse combines domestic quarters including the splendid Lord's Hall with its carved oak screen, musicians' gallery and double fireplace. This was used as a film location for the BBC production of Ivanhoe and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
As well as being heavily featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Doune Castle was also used for the castle known as Winterfell in the pilot of the award winning TV series Game of Thrones as well as Castle Leoch in Outlander.

Peaceful and beautiful but be warned on sunny days unless you go early you will not get parked here so please choose another local loch there are loads, if in doubt just ask. It is also a lovely walk here, you would park at yhe meadows car park and follow the cycle track it will take a couple of hours but very easy and very beautiful.
