Laura’s Farm Stand opens July 24th is only 15 min away and a wonderful way to spend part of your day!
Walk through sunflower trails, pick your own flower bouquet. Picnic in the flowers on tables provided. Lots of photo opportunities along the trail with vintage sofas, large muskoka chairs and beautiful views. Twice a year vendor markets are held and in the fall pick your own pumpkin is very popular. Lots of fresh vegetables available for purchase.

So much do to and see here! Enjoy pebble beaches of Georgian Bay, visit Scenic Caves, or Blue Mountain village itself with many shops and restaurants. It’s often referred to as mini Whistler! Many trails in the area for hiking, biking and skinning as well as downhill skiing on the hills in season. Blue Mountain is approx 45 min to an hour and is a lovely drive from the Schoolhouse.

Creemore is a lovely town with many shops and restaurants. It’s the birthplace of Creemore Springs and still has the initial brewery that you can tour and enjoy sampling. In the fall you can find Apple orchards to enjoy! Creemore is less than half an hour from the Schoolhouse.
