Beautiful safe wooded park between our home and the 39th street corridor. full of play equipment and trees. I highly recommend the ZIP line and the climbing structure regardless of age.

Modest museum housing a permanent collection & special exhibitions of challenging contemporary art. It is a great small museum that is free of charge and within walking distance of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art.

Named for the surrounding Country Club neighborhood, most know it simply as The Plaza, and the buildings have remained almost unchanged since opening in 1923. In addition to the architecture, there are more than 30 statues, murals, and tile mosaics that add to the Spanish flavor, and the blocks are anchored by several major architectural reproductions like the Cathedral of Seville, and even San Francisco’s Path of Gold Streetlights.
The Plaza was the first shopping center in the world designed specifically to accommodate the auto-centric shopper.

We go to great lengths to bring you the best coffee in the world. And nobody does it like we do. Come by for a tour and learn all about our cupping, roasting and blending processes. You'll learn about the history of the company, get a behind the scenes look at the factory and experience a manual coffee brewing demonstration along with a Q&A. Guests of all ages are permitted on the tours, but when we're roasting the factory can be quite loud.
Tours for kids age 12 and under are free; over age 12 tours are $5 per person, which includes a complimentary souvenir Roasterie glass and sample of Roasterie Cold Brew, Nitro Cold Brew or iced tea.
