Go and see the amazing Redwoods! These big trees are amazing! Go for a drive through it, stop at the Stout Memorial grove for a quick walk, or hike the boy scout trail to really be amazed!

Go for a hike with awesome long range views of Gold Beach and the Pacific. Take the turn off 101, go left until you get to a circle parking lot. At the coastal trail head go to the left. This leads all the way down (about 1000 ft change in altitude) to a secluded beach. It is a pretty steep climb down the last 20 feet, but there is a rope. It is worth it.

Cape Sebastian State Scenic Corridor
Go for a hike with awesome long range views of Gold Beach and the Pacific. Take the turn off 101, go left until you get to a circle parking lot. At the coastal trail head go to the left. This leads all the way down (about 1000 ft change in altitude) to a secluded beach. It is a pretty steep climb down the last 20 feet, but there is a rope. It is worth it.
Nice winding hike that leads past a natural arch on the way to a sandy beach with lots of drift wood and sea stacks.

Good hike with a 2000 ft elevation change up the highest mountain on the Oregon coast. No sweeping views but nice little glimpses on the 5 mile loop.

You can go up and take a tour of the lighthouse during the summer season. Often you can see whales and other wild life. Plus, it is an interesting look into how the Oregon coast functioned 100 years ago.
