Lovely seaside town 10 miles away. Good choice of food and history with a castle and Naval College. You can drive but parking can be problematic. There is a park and ride service. Alternatively you can hire e-bikes to cycle there or there is a bus service.

Lovely Harbour town, very busy in peak season. Parking can be an issue. Consider using the passenger ferry from Portlemouth to get there after cycling to the ferry.
