North Star has mountain biking in summer, skiing/snowboarding in winter, an ice skating ring, lots of shops and restaurants. They also have a golf course.

My favorite ski mountain
I might be biased as I grew up ski racing for Alpine Meadows, but the terrain is always good, and there are some great runs at this mountain. Don’t miss this one if you love to ski!

Please do not leave food in your car, and lock your car to prevent bears from trying to get in. In Tahoe, “a fed bear is a dead bear…” please do your part to help keep these bears from learning new habits that will get them euthanized.
