If you love seafood and creeks..this is your place! They have some of the best food around! You can eat inside, at the bar or outside near the creek. They also have a cool caldron firepit area to sit and enjoy the creek. We visit them at least 2-3 times a month! Their seafood trio on Saturdays is amazing!

Looking to catch 3 miles in a very easy setting? Try out Deep Creek in Bryson CIty. About a 20 min ride from our cabin. You'll enter the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where there is tubing, hiking and sightseeing. There are 3 different waterfalls in the park. It gets pretty busy so parking might take a minute. Take a picnic lunch as there are plenty of areas to sit and enjoy.

Ahhh Dry Falls (although I have no idea why they call it that lol) This is probably my most favorite place! About a 45 minute drive from our cabin. You can walk down to and behind this waterfall. It is amazing ...especially if we have had some big rain! When you leave this one, Bridal Veil falls is about a mile on down the road from it.

If you're into Kayaking, whitewater rafting...this is the spot! Even just to watch them is worth it. There are restaurants and areas to sit along the river and watch them training for competitions or just enjoying the rapids!

A great train ride through the mountains. Depending on which train session you choose, you'll see the Nantahala Outdoor Center or Dillsboro where you can get off and explore! This is a great way to see the sites of our mountains, rivers and creeks and maybe even a bear!

Cherokee is a town on the reservation home of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, in western North Carolina. At Oconaluftee Indian Village, the 18th-century Cherokee lifestyle is preserved via live demonstrations. In summer at the outdoor Mountainside Theatre, the drama "Unto These Hills" tells the tribal story. The nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park features campgrounds and Appalachian hiking trails. And if you like gambling, Harrahs Cerokee is there.
