Located only 35km away from Riga, it is the perfect city escape. You will be able to rent bikes, and cross-country ski equipment in the forest park and wonder all the way to the Dubkalnu karjers (lake) which is located right in the middle of the forest park. For lunch try some of these places Melnā Kamene, Pūres beķereja (more for coffee/ afternoon tea), Senjorita Kukū.
