This is my absolute favorite thing to do on Cape Cod, and if you have anywhere from 1 day to a month on the Cape, I always recommend that everyone visit. I think the National Seashore has some of the best beaches on Cape Cod, and many of them are great for spotting seals in the water. Great for a day hiking or an evening walk. The visitor center has full of information about the salt pond area. The trails are easy along the pond, marshes, and forest. There are some great views of Cape Cod Bay along the way. There is also a short learning path for kids with activities for the visually impaired.

The best view of Provincetown can be had from atop the Pilgrim Monument. You'll have to climb 116 steps and 60 ramps to reach the summit of this iconic tower, which was built in 1892. Created to honor the Pilgrim's first Provincetown landing in 1620, this historic monument is a must-see and easily one of the best things to see in Provincetown.
