The Verdon Gorge (French: Gorges du Verdon) is a river canyon and perfectly suited for a day trip from the chateau. There is no road up the gorge, there is a breathtaking circular "corniche" route around the rim of the gorge, and plenty of opportunities for boat and kayak hire on the lower end of the gorge. The road from Tourrettes to the Verdon Gorge comes with great views. Enjoy

Every Saturday morning, there’s vivid atmosphere in Fayence with the early morning Provencal market. Definitely worth to walk there and stroll to the market and have a drink on one of the terraces.

My favourite beach club
This is a secluded place in the harbor of Mandelieu. The name Dolce Far Niente saus it all. Perfect for spending a day suntanning, swimming and relaxing. The place is run by ladies and offers original setup. This is our son on the picture, he loves it over there

If you love truffles as we do, making a booking at « Chez Bruno » in Lorgues is worth the trip. It is Michelin rated and they are very generous. Enjoy.
