15 mins away in downtown Dallas, this will keep you busy for the entire day, especially if you have kids. Being extra clothes if they like to play with water. (the aprons aren't waterproof) They also have reciprocal membership if you're a member of other science museums.
Perot parking costs $10, but metered street parking is available and much cheaper.
