The line can be long! But get here early and skip the wait, also purchase tickets in advance! Earnest Hemingway was a huge historical figure in Key West. Soak up the history and consider stopping by “Hemmingway Rum Distillery” for a taste of Dark Pillar Rum afterwards. Try a “Pillar and Pineapple” mixed drink. It will not disappoint!!🥃

When I think restaurants In the keys I picture seafood 🦞 I love half shell as well as the adjacent seafood spot “Boathouse” I love to order the blackened mahi-mahi tacos, or magi sandwich, a little lemon juice and “Wala” 😉

Walking is commonplace, but bicycles are very convenient
2x3 miles is the dimensions of the island. Getting off the island is best traveled by public Bus🚎 , which costs 4$ 💸. Also, bus schedules can be navigated Best by using the app “rome2Rio” found in the IOS App Store📲

Some nights at Mallory Square, the sunset festival can be a real spectacle of Key West!✨. Many street performers display entertaining performances which can be a real treat! Enjoy the festivities amid the famous Key West Sunset🌅 P.S. The Fish Tacos are delicious! 🌮🍤

Mopeds can be a game changer🏍️! See the all of Key West and enjoy free parking anywhere on the island! Special parking spots are free and bike sized rectangular spaces. 🔻 Rentals can be very affordable at $50.00 for two days and unlimited gas refills at some rental locations ! In the daytime sun when it heats up, a cool ride can be refreshing! 😎. I recommend taking a tour around the island and maybe riding down to stock island for a bite to eat, perhaps Hogfish bar n’ Grill ( personal favorite)
