I wish I would have taken a picture of my plate because it was delicious. I had the blackened stuffed shrimp, green beans and baked potato and it was so good. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he said it was the best one he has had in a very long time. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back when we visit Galveston again.

Neighborhoods
Magnolia Beach is five minutes south ofJamaica Beach, Texas, which is one of the most popular beaches and sought-after neighborhoods for beach vacation rentals. Jamaica Beach is far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, and close enough to the island attractions (15 miles from 61st Street). Also, if you forgot something, no problem! The fully stocked local grocery store and next door restaurant is a five minute walk away from our door step!

Very very good attraction for kids. Very well done and quite impressive. The kids wouldn't be disappointed. A must see feature.

The old depot was really nice. Nice artifacts in all the cars they had on display. Id have liked to get into more of the locomotives, but I understand those are harder to make safe for the public.

While the beach is less than five minutes from Magnolia Beach, I highly recommend guests have access to a vehicle to visit the near by towns of Jamaica Beach and Galveston.
