Our favorite date spot in Dallas, we go there for almost every special occasion. Jenn and David make fabulous Italian food. Call ahead to reserve, it's a small restaurant and usually quite busy. Insider's tip: they have 4 unreserved bar seats that you might be able to snag if you swing by unannounced, always worth a try with so many other great backups in the neighborhood. Tell Jenn that Brian and Shirelle said hi!

If you like bookstores you'll like it here. A few tables to sit and read, a cafe in the bookstore that sells bomb slices of pie, and a great selection! Anytime we are in the Bishop Arts district (which we highly recommend), we make it a point to stop here.

Malls are dying, but this one is alive and well. One of our favorite mall experiences anywhere, lots of nice shops, filled with some interesting art. Pleasant!
