This one's kind of a hidden gem. Small little pub and yes, the only store in the town of Trego. Set right smack dab in front of the mountains. Good food. Live music. Outdoor seating. Worth a trip if you want to experience a tiny town feel.

Things to do

You can find year round fun on Big Mountain! From late May to mid-September, there are a wide range of activities for all ages just a short and easy 7-mile drive from downtown. Once you’re up top, you can fly above the treetops on Montana’s longest zip line, careen down the mountain on the alpine slide, or explore one of the many hiking trails. There are also 25 miles of mountain bike trails. Bring your own bike or rent one at the resort. Winter brings an annual snowfall of 333 inches and 3,000 acres of skier and rider accessible terrain, Whitefish Mountain Resort offers access to 105 named trails and vast bowl and tree skiing.
