One of our favourite places for a no-frills meal. A bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but the food is fantastic. Not a great spot for vegetarians, but the stuffed mushrooms are great.

If you're craving sushi, this is our favourite and the most authentic we've tried. Not cheap though.

A good place to try classic street food items in a hygienic environment (prices reflect this.) Even though we'd recommend real street food (ask about our tour), this place is also very good.

Good place for a cheap, quick meal. The pav bhaji is pretty good, and there's a large menu of dosas. Wash it down with fresh juice- our favourites are watermelon and/or pineapple.

A good place to sample a Gujurati thali. Unlimited food for Rs. 250! Pretty sweet and heavy, but a really fun experience! Our visitors always love it.

Good food, but quite heavy. Nice outdoor atmosphere and they serve alcohol (there are usually deals.) The basil garlic paneer tikka is our favourite paneer dish in town. Moderately priced.
