Great morning trip with one of the most beautifully scenic drives (about 30 minutes) you can imagine as you travel along the coast.
Make sure to eat lunch at their cafe… it is quite a nice surprise both for the food and all the hummingbird visitors you may be lucky to see!

Great place for local art and souvenirs. Located a short walk north to the bridge over the river…the flea market runs the length of the island there.

The Malecon is a long, wide walkway along the shoreline full of shops, restaurants, artists, and more. There are many sculptures along the route and much to see. It starts at Hotel Rosita and runs south all the way to La Palapa and the pier. Safe day and night.
