Mellow Restaurant & Bar might not exactly be reinventing the wheel when it comes to nightlife in Thonglor, but what they do they do well. The bright sunlight flooding in through the huge framed creates a pleasant setting for lunch, while the soft lighting, lavish leather sofas and gentle house music soundtrack help Mellow to live up to its name after-dark. The long food menu spans from pub finger food like chicken wings and fries to more substantial mains like pastas, steak and seafood, and you can expect to pay 150-800 baht per dish. Cocktails can be hit and miss here, but arrive for their buy-one-get-one-free happy hour and you won’t complaining.

Suan Pakkad which means cabbage patch used to occupy the land which is now housing a collection of traditional Thai homes surrounded by beautiful gardens. The complex was originally built as a weekend resort by the order of HRH Prince Chompbhotong Paripatra of Nagor Svarga and his consort, Mom Ratchawong Pantip. After the World War II they moved permanently to the this residence. There are seven houses in the complex. Each one displays art collection assembled by the Royal family, their photos, drums, religious artifacts and model boats (House 1). House 2 contains personal items like bowls inlaid with mother-of-pearl and ivory boxes.
