You will not be disappointed by the wonderful eating options. Shop for local clothing and gifts and of course the best produce. Fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, great deli products and many baked goods to choose from. Huge selection for vegans and vegetarians. Try to arrive by 9 am as it can get quite busy, but it is always very festive, and there are many tables to sit at.

On a beautiful day a visit to Cape Town would not be complete without experiencing Table Mountain either by cable car or walking. Always take a hat, suntan lotion, warm sweater and water and make sure of your route before starting out. The Mountain is beautiful, but please go prepared as the weather can change quickly.

World famous beach! On a windy day in Cape Town go to Clifton Beach it is almost always windfree. We love 3rd Beach and its always less crowded than 4th. Many steps to climb down but it is so worth the effort.

Fresh juices, selection of breads, fruits, hams, bespoke cheeses, biltong, a selection of hot breakfasts. Afterwards explore the beautiful gardens and lovely shops and delis. Lunches are excellent too. They also have other casual spots to eat as well, the Tasting Room and the Glass House. Essential to book for the breakfasts and lunches at Babel Restaurant.

Really excellent old school steakhouse. Meat top quality, friendly service and you can take along your own wine without paying corkage. If you are a meat eater you will not be disappointed.
