Sightseeing
We love walking the Song Bird Trail along the Clinch River. We also love driving through the state park on a pretty day with the windows down. You could pick up your own food-there’s plenty of places to sit and eat at the park- or pick up something to eat at Clinch River Brewery.

Great for going on a long or short hike. You can spend 30 minutes here or 3 hours, all up to you! This is a a short drive from our home but worth it. SoKno Taco, Hi-Wire Brewery, and other South Knoxville favorites are nearby and delicious!

I couldn’t list all the possibilities of Market Square. It’s a must go to me and you won’t be disappointed. There is typically a Farmers Market available on Saturdays. So many good restaurants. Lots of patio seating and rooftops available as well.

Living in this area, we have visited the Museum of Appalachia multiple times. We continue to go back because of the food 😋 It’s a great price and delicious southern food. If you are history enthusiast, you’ll enjoy paying for a ticket and walking the grounds. If you aren’t interested in the history side, I still highly suggest going by for food. Check their Facebook page for the daily menu!

Worth the drive! This is the epitome of The Great Smoky Mountains. You can drive through the park, stop throughout and and hike/sightsee, or bike it on Wednesdays (no cars in the morning).
