Lazy Daze Cabin is located a short distance to Lake Burton. This section outlines many activities one can do in close proximity to our cabin and some waterfall hikes which are well worth the drive.
Our Cabin is a stone throw away from Lake Burton. Our cabin has a kayak for guests to use free of charge, you will be responsible for getting the kayak to the lake and back to the cabin. So please make necessary arrangements. Facilities are suitable for boating, kayaking, camping, picnicking, swimming and fishing.

Hemlock Falls is a part of Moccasin Creek State Park, a 32-acre state park located on the western shore of Lake Burton in Rabun County in the northeast corner of Georgia. The park features campgrounds; a fishing pier for the physically disabled, the elderly, and children; and walking trails.

Hemlock Falls is a part of Moccasin Creek State Park, a 32-acre state park located on the western shore of Lake Burton in Rabun County in the northeast corner of Georgia. The park features campgrounds; a fishing pier for the physically disabled, the elderly, and children; and walking trails.
Moccasin Creek State Park features many things to do with friends and family including water activities and a playground for kids. Less than a five minute or within walking distance of our Airbnb.

Tallulah Falls is one of the most beautiful scenic hikes within a 30 minute drive of our Airbnb. The Tallulah Gorge is one of the largest in the United States and boasts the famed Tallulah Falls Suspension Bridge. Enjoy beautiful views, fresh air, gorgeous waterfalls, rivers and lakes. Definitely a recommended day trip with the family.
