Sightseeing
The Rail Trail in Belfast is 4 miles long and used for walking and bike riding. Along this trail you'll enjoy multiple vistas with the train depot at one end and the start of the board walk at the other. The boardwalk actually takes you into town, past the Come Boating! shed, along the harbor, past the park and to the Boat House at the far end. There is a small swimming beach here that is lovely and somewhat private. I love swimming in this particular location.

On February 2, 2016 the City approved the establishment of a 30-foot diameter, ADA-accessible paved labyrinth on Belfast Common, the park overlooking Belfast Harbor and Penobscot Bay, a project that was proposed by the Friends of Belfast Parks.
