Brewery
Our favorite local brewery in Denver, hands down. Yes, the beer is good, but the rooftop patio is incredible with views of both Sloans Lake and the downtown Denver skyline. Plus, there’s some nostalgia alive. When Neil first moved to Denver, he lived just blocks away, and the brewery was a favorite place to meet up with friends or watch sports. Sadly, no kids are allowed on the rooftop.

Food trucks often park outside. If you’re feeling adventurous, rent bikes at Wheat Ridge Cyclery and bike along the Clear Creek trail. Entrance to the trail is just a couple blocks away.

Headquartered in Bend, OR, this brewery has great beers (try the cucumber crush sour) and pizza. Fantastic roof-top patio overlooking the RiNo neighborhood.
