The most well-known park in the city. A must in your visit, no doubts. This expansive, 19th-century urban park has several ponds & an open-air theater. There's also several coffee spots inside to grab a to-go cup while you wander around its pathways and bridges.

The best bakery in the neighborhood. Just to die for. Check their Instagram every Friday for the weekend specials. On Saturday morning there's always a queue. Yes, it's totally worth it.

Just in front of the house, find this jewel of a spot. Amazing food, very cozy atmosphere and super nice staff. Sunny terrace in summer, and warm lamps for winter.... there's always an excuse to visit Van Loon.

The inside is also beautiful with great atmosphere.
The food is amazing, we highly recommend the pasta of the day. A favorite in our house :D

g stands for gluten free. Because this is how it all started for us. But it didn't stop there, because g now standsfor so much more: cosy, green, communal, great, cool, gallery, convenience, pastry, family, hospitable, enjoyment, happiness.
And we could go on and on.
We are Emily & Karen and have created a beautiful and inspiring place where everyone can eat and drink delicious and healthy. Because gluten-free, in our opinion, does not mean that you have to make concessions in terms of taste. On the contrary! And how nice is it, if for a change you don't have to inspect everything for gluten first, but can just enjoy yourself. We sell a wide range of gluten-free products. Fresh bread, cakes, meals and many more goodies. Everything in our store is 100% gluten-free, many products are without refined sugar and lactose free. There are also many vegan options.
But g is more. We don't want to call ourselves a mini department store yet, but (almost) everything you see with us is for sale. The chairs you sit on, the plants above your head and that nice plate on which your sandwich is served. Even the coffee beans of your Rumbaba cappuccino. So that you can make it just as cozy at home as here. Or at another, because we have also selected the nicest (interior) gifts.
So come along, eat and drink something, chat, do some work, shop that spontaneous gift, but above all Enjoy. With a big G actually. But we remain humble, therefore g' in west.
