But don’t forget to head back for the evening as it is full of nightlife with music often playing in the square, and a good selection of bars and restaurants.

30-40 minutes from the house is Gallipoli. The city which is built on an island is full of charm and must see architecture. Worth the drive to spend an afternoon and evening exploring tiny alleys, beach, shopping and enjoying a nice dinner.
