This pizza bar is built in the old Sacred Heart Hospital morgue. They have a decent craft beer selection and besides that, the pizza is consistently good. I'm pretty sure the bathrooms are haunted.

This restaurant started in New Orleans and is our go to for breakfast/brunch. Their main staple is benedict done multiple ways but they have other fare. My dad couldn't stop raving about the cajun shrimp n grits

Don't let the fact this place looks a bit like a homeless encampment set up behind a shell station fool you. There's always a line for a reason. It was named the best tacos in the country by business insider in 2017. Rankings have slipped a bit but they're still #4.

Sadly Atlas is bar service only during the week since reopening after Covid. I'm impatiently awaiting the return of half price sushi Tuesday.

Not just sandwiches but definitely a great place if you enjoy fried food. They have a large menu and an impressive specials offering as well. Not only that its very reasonably priced if you don't mind a little trip to the west side.

Really neat museum archiving some of our local history here in the city of 5 flags. The best part is its affiliated with several museums nearby including a childrens museum and $10 gets you into all of them for a week.

No fishing license required to fish from the pier, its included in the admission price. Great place to catch the sunset. $2.25 for observers, $7.50 for adult fishers. You can rent rods and buy tackle/bait here too!
