This route was intended to facilitate pilgrims to reach the Vatican more easily.
The road covered with cobblestones is almost one kilometer long and is quiet and collection of Renaissance style surrounded by elegant palaces of Roman nobility and antique shops that still stand the test of time.
It is advisable to take a pleasant walk at night and follow it all to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere and look around to see the ancient houses with the wonderful frescoed ceilings and stop in front of

I suggest Tivoli because this old city is not far from Rome and has a lot to see. I suggest absolutely Villa d'Este , Villa Adriana and Villa Gregoriana. For the rest of the day you can have a look to the old city so one day is enough. If you are interested for more informations just let me know.

Simply spectacular .... in the center of Rome represents a legendary point without equal ... ecstatic ... impressive ... surprising ... and that hole in the center of the dome seems a direct connection with the sky and mysticism.

Very nice and recommended, sit at the coffee tables overlooking the square, to enjoy a good cappuccino.

Very nice and recommended, sit at the coffee tables overlooking the square, to enjoy a good cappuccino.

it is the carateristic area of rome famous for the food...is not very central to stay but if you have half day is good to see this area.
