Just a 5 minute walk from the cottage, Holker Hall is well worth a visit. The courtyard is free to enter with a high quality cafe and gift shop. In the Summer months, the courtyard hosts Bess and Barrel, a pop up pizza restaurant. Behind the gift shop is a children's play area, again free of charge. There are a range of special weekends throughout the year, such as Chilli Fest in September, Spring, Autumn and Winter Fairs.

We are looking forward to visiting the house and gardens this year.
