Please keep in mind that once you get on northwoods blvd, the amount of snow on the roads change completely. it can be dry downtown and covered in snow in Tahoe Donner. Chains and or all wheel drive vehicles are recommended and sometimes required during heavy storms.

We enjoy a quiet, friendly and respectful environment. Since this is a small town, you get to see the same people over and over when you live here. We want to make sure, our guest understand neighbor's curtesy and understand neighborhood etiquette. Most locals understand that this is a very much a touristy area, however, they still want to live in a quiet and serene environment.
