We highly recommend a day walking around the forest here at Lynford. Take a stroll through the Arboretum with its established collection of trees and walk across to Lynford Stagg forest area. Check out the lovely view from Lynford Hall from the Serpentine Lake.

Good weather days are great at High Lodge with all its cycling trails and children's climbing/ play areas, you only have to pay for parking (approx. £12.50 if you stay all day) and the children will have a ball so its a good value day out and its is only 9 miles from here. There are also BBQ areas, a cafe and places to rent bikes.
