This little bar is known to have secret shows by some of Canadas most famous bands, and you never know who may show up on a Sunday night to sit in with the band. Great atmosphere with friendly staff.

They have really amazing back patio, complete with gas heaters if neccesary, so even in the colder nights it's an extremely comfortable atmosphere.

Very tasty late night food options and a very affordable price, as well as an extensive wine and craft beer menu. Really great vibe, bustling with youthful and friendly energy. Right around the corner from the apartment. This is a new bar that operates a Brewery in the basement. They have an excellent selection of Microbrew beers, and a fantastic menu of Caribbean / Trinidadian appetizers and mains.

An institution on the Queen St. West scene. It's about a 10 minute cab ride from the apartment--but it has all original live music 7 days a week, 8pm until 2am. Great craft beer selection, wicked original Toronto music, spectacular VIBE.

Really amazing and authentic Vietnamese food.
The Pho Soups are great on a cold day-- I recommend the Rare Beef Pho, and they also have amazing rice and meat dishes.
Very cheap as well.

The aesthetic is cozy and no frills--definitely recommend coming with a friend and sitting on the bench outside on a hot summer day.

You are right across the road from this lovely, huge park. They have a fantastic farmers market every Thursday from 3pm - 7pm. So you can stroll over in the afternoon and get some locally grown produce / cheese / meat etc.

Famous for it's collection of Sakura Cherry Tree's that blossom only for a short time of the year. However, if you miss that, there is a swimming pool in the park, and amazing walking trails. Bring a picnic and spend the day!

One of the largest parks in Toronto, it is hidden treasure in our city--you can walk in here for hours! Famous for it's collection of Sakura Cherry Tree's that blossom only for a short time of the year. However, if you miss that, there is a swimming pool in the park, and amazing walking trails. Bring a picnic and spend the day!

It's right at the most southern end of Toronto, so you'll have a beautiful view of the skyline! And if it's a clear day you might see Niagara-On-The- Lake across the water!

This is a great get away from the city, if you want it. The ferry's come on scheduled time about once every half-hour. A 10 minute ride brings you to Toronto Island, with amazing walking trails, and a very cozy place that makes you feel like you are out of the city completely! If you got to Centre Island, there is a small "carnival" like setting in the summer, with a corn maze and little rides for kids. Great for families!
