It's a very interesting short documentary of the history of Hearst Castle. ~Afterwards, take a picnic & go to the beach right across the street (Hwy 1) referred to by locals as San Simeon Cove, but it's official name is William Randolph Hearst Memorial State Beach. This beach is my favorite secret & I love it better than Carmel Beach (which is my second favorite) There is a path you can hike toward the end of the cove that takes you up & thru an enchanted Eucalyptus forest to the point & beyond! Bring your camera!
