This is a great food spot in Lexington. If you are going on the weekend, get there early! Indoor and outdoor seating available. I recommend the Hangover Hashbrowns!

This is a small, upscale restaurant. They are open at lunch (which is a little more casual), but if you are going on the weekend for dinner, I highly suggest calling ahead to make a reservation. The chef there has won many awards and is incredible!

This is a very nice (a little expensive) local Italian restaurant. They do not do reservations, and get very busy on the weekends. Really good food and nice bar area. Great for date nights.

Lake Murray Dam is about 8 minutes from the house. The walking path is 1.7 miles each way. No lights for night walking. There is a public park/mini beach area that is open May-Sept.
