Great food. It's a small place but I've never eaten a bad dish from this Italian restaurant. They also have a back patio if you want more privacy. Best of all they deliver just in case you want to enjoy your meal at home.

If you've never had South African cuisine, this is the place to try it. Great date spot if your date is adventurous. Also a small selection of South African wines. The bar area is a bit small but have dinner here and check out a bar nearby.

Junior's Cheesecake is famous for a reason. It's simply delicious. You'll never have another slice of cheesecake that beats it. Its extremely decadent so plan on having leftovers or sharing with a friend or date. The restaurant is meh, but the cheesecake is a must have.

The best fast gourmet burger you'll ever have. If you're in NY you must have a Shake Shack Burger and fries at some point during your stay. There's also another location across the street from Barclays Center.

The best Mediterranean eats in all of Brooklyn with a cool eclectic setting. They also have a good happy hour if you can make it there early. They do not take reservations but the wait is never too long.

Great bar scene and cocktails. This place can however get pretty crowded Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Having one cocktail here is worth the crowd.

The entrance to this secret bar is around the corner from the attached restaurant Aita. Don't bother eating at the restaurant just head straight for the bar. It's super tiny but serves some of the best cocktails in the neighborhood. The cool factor is about a 10. If you take anyone here they're bound to be impressed.
