This stunning village, on the tip of italy, is only 5 minutes drive away. it's the village where all the action happens. from religious festivals, festa's and celebrations, to opera performance outdoors, and music by the aqua-duct and lighthouse. we fell in love with Puglia, the 1st time we sat here in winter and threw stones in the sea, sipping a beer.

you can reach this cave on foot. otherwise you need to swim into, float into on a lilo, or go in a boat trip.
this cave has a really cool geo-fence hidden piece of treasure.

look out across the sea to Greece and Africa from here. And next door is a magnificent church and monastery. An interesting gallery, cafe, and great place to people watch.

From Ristola into the centre of Leuca: kids have fun here, and then walk along the sea front into town. There are pop up shops, stalls and people making stuff. it's fun for everyone.

Getting Around
the best place to pick up a bargain renting a car is online, and to pick up at BDS airport. I strongly suggest that if it's high season, someone goes ahead to get to car rental, while the other grabs the bags. Might save 45 mins queue for you at the worst times.
