Tea Creek Mountain
The 784-acre Handley Wildlife Management Area (WMA) protects a hardwood forest that climbs rolling hills and scattered steep slopes in the Allegheny Mountains near the upper Williams River. There are deer, grouse, turkey, woodcock, waterfowl, and bears.
The five-acre Handley Pond offers fishing for trout, bluegill, largemouth bass, and channel catfish among Class-Q anglers. Bikes permitted only on roads open to vehicles. (Open year around). Drinking water, restroom facilities are provided.
Located 8 miles off Rt. 219 north of Marlinton on Woodrow Road.

Lewisburg is a lovely historic small town just under an hour from our place. The downtown area has several art and antique shops/small galleries that a worth a visit for budget-minded visitors. We love the fact that the town promotes local artists and arts & crafts. We will report more as we visit more often.
