My husband recommends this place if you like IPA’s and interesting flavors. I’m not a beer girl, but I enjoy the sangria slushee in spring and summer, and the caramel apple slushee in fall and winter.

Hands down, the best barbecue I’ve ever had. And, you can smell it smoking all day long from our front porch. The cocktails are also delicious. The outdoor seating has great ambiance.

I was reluctant to try the escargot, but everybody recommended them. They were so good! All the food and wine was amazing. This is a lovely little date spot. The owner and all of the staff are warm and friendly. This has been a Lexington hot spot for years. I can’t believe it took us so long to discover it, but it’s definitely a new favorite.

This is one of my favorites! This place is full of Kentucky charm, whether you eat outside on the patio or inside the historic home. I get the pork loin and corn pudding every time! I should branch out, but it’s just so good.

Dudley’s has a classy, yet relaxed, atmosphere. You can sit in the lounge or eat in the elegant dining room. I love their rolls and have to be careful not to fill up on them, because the food here is amazing! I hear brunch is awesome. If you try it, tell me what you think.

This is one of those hole in the wall spots that surprises you with their goodness! It’s inexpensive, the portions are large and it’s soooo yummy! It’s just a short drive from the Airbnb.

My family enjoys strolling down Jefferson street to Sorella for some gelato. It’s always fresh and there are always seasonal and unique flavors. The hours tend to be a little unpredictable, so check to make sure they are open before you go.

This is my favorite restaurant on Jefferson street! It’s a very “Lexington” dining experience. The patio is fabulous and the food is too. I love the goat cheese ravioli and the fried chicken. (That’s all I’ve tried so far!) The house dessert is a chocolate, raspberry and macadamia mouse. It’s light and so yummy!

Never too much creamery
We love this little ice cream shop! The milkshakes are a work of art.
I love Bella’s! They have lovely cocktails and the best salads. The burrata is divine! Any entree with their fried chicken is a winner. It is just a cute and swanky place and I’m so glad that they are open for lunch.

This place is fun! They have a big sports bar, a cool bowling alley, a huge arcade, and the most comfortable movie theater that I’ve ever been to! (Seriously, I’m totally spoiled now!) You can order food from the restaurant and have it delivered to your seat in the theater! There is also an attached parking garage and you can get free parking for a couple of hours.
