It has a carnival feel with some of the finest waterfront seafood restaurants, beautiful scenery while strolling the boardwalk, amusement rides, retail shopping and live music entertainment. A great place to spend the day.

Galveston is a charming city known for its 32 miles of Gulf Beaches. It also includes first rate restaurants, quaint souvenir and gift shops with unique places to stay. Along with the many beaches and other attractions, you may also enjoy Pleasure Pier and Moody Gardens.

Baybrook Shopping Mall is near the Clear Lake City area, which is 20 minutes from Pasadena, TX. This Mall has more than 170 stores along with several anchor stores including: JC Penney, Macy's, and Dillard's. It also has The Star Cinema where you can order food to enjoy with your movie. You will need to have or arrange for transportation.
Texas is huge. To get around Houston, Texas and surrounding suburbs you will need a vehicle or arrange for transportation. There are tollways throughout which can be costly. To save a few bucks, program Google Maps, Waze etc; to avoid tolls and ferries. These routes only add several minutes to your travel time. You may also purchase a EZ Tag to travel the toll roads and your credit card will be billed.
