I recommend you download the app and use Uber extensively. Rides typically get here within 5 minutes. Typical prices range from 5-15 USD. Super cheap.

Use the subway to go downtown - General Anaya station
Subway is located in Calzada de Tlalpan a 5 minute walk from the house. Take the trains towards Cuatro Caminos and get off in Zocalo to visit Mexico City’s main square which includes Templo Mayor , Catedral and Bellas Artes.

Walk from the house towards Plaza Centenario and enjoy the historic neighborhood at its best. Use google maps if you want to feel more comfortable or just wander around and discover the many corners Coyoacan offers
