The grave of the important Cretan writer Nikos Kazantzakis (1883-1957) is located at the highest point of the walls that surround Heraklion. His grave is austere with a wooden cross and a plaque engraved with his famous phrase: "I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I'm free". That is my favourite spot in the whole city, you are able to see everything and you can have a nice stroll on the walls from one side of the centre to the other. Highly recommended!

The main achievement of Tarrha Glass is creating exclusive design and fine quality objects, which are promoted in selected shops all over Greece and abroad.

You can visit the village of "Geni Gkave" as the locals call it and feel the real Cretan presence in one of the oldest and most traditional Cretan villages. Flouris tavern that is located inside the village is a Cretan diamond and is probably our favourite traditional Cretan food.
