Food Scene

There's a microbrewery on site that sells very reasonably priced craft beer that is out of this world. You can even take some home with you. It's right by the Shotover Jet, so you can stop by for a drink after racing the rapids.

Drinks & Nightlife

The best, most snug bar in the Wakatipu, hands down. Low ceilings, huge leather armchairs, roaring fires and a sensational cellar, plus food from Saffron just across the lane.

Parks & Nature

Perfect place for a picnic that's almost out in the middle of nowhere! There's a bike/footpath that goes around Moke Lake, plus a couple of places where you can have a bit of a swim. Was the film set for much of the first series of "Top Of The Lake".
