Lovely castle with amazing gardens. It is located in Hillerød which is 50 mins away from the city, but if you have time and you love castles, it is a great half a day trip.
From Vanløse station take the train to København H and from there a new train to Hillerød. Tickets can be purchased at machine at the Vanløse station.
