Crêpe Bar (7520 South Rural Road): As you may have guessed, their specialty is crepes, but they also serve eggs, salads and more. We can highly recommend the Grand Prix for something savory and the First Time for something sweet. Note: This place isn’t the biggest or the coziest but it’s GOOD!

Culinary Dropout (149 S Farmer Ave): If you only order one thing, please get the Pretzels and Fondue! Although you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. They have an excellent Happy Hour (and are very kid friendly during that time…perfect for parents wanting to hang out somewhere “grown up” but not feel guilty about bringing along the kiddos) and in the evening, it turns into more of a bar/party spot. They have a great games area- we love a good game of bags/cornhole.

Four Peaks Brewing Company (1340 E 8th St #104 is the main/original location): A Tempe institution and a must visit for beer lovers. You can even book a tour of the brewery (must be 21+ to attend the tour).
