In addition to "The Parks"...
With a quick trip to town, you will be hard pressed to see more than what is in the parks (Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point). They are very special places and worth dedicating a whole day to each.
For those interested in sites outside of the parks, here is a list of my favorite places:
-Corona Arch
-Highway 128 (River Road)
-La Sal Loop Road (access to mountain lakes Warner and Oowah)
I recommend:
mountain biking, jeeping, river tours, and hiking. Ohv rentals are destructive to our roads, disrupt our environment, and creating noise pollution that chases away wildlife and locals.
