Azura is like stepping into a mini Tuscany in Paonia. They have a pond, the best views in town, and some incredible wine. The Yacht Club Red is our favorite.

The best bakery in town with fresh bread made daily, coffee, and tons of delicious treats to choose from—pastries, pizza, and sandwiches. Note that they are cash only but have an ATM inside.

Great food here and such beautiful grounds. You can walk the farm here too and see their giant pigs, dogs, and other animals. Such an awesome place to pass time!

The North Rim of Black Canyon is only 30 minutes from Zephyr Ranch. It is an absolute must-see.

The trailhead for Mt. Lamborn Trail #895 is just up the road from Zephyr Ranch. Hike, horseback ride, or mountain bike up Mt. Lamborn!

It's a gorgeous drive to get to Lost Lake, we call it our "low effort, high reward" hiking spot. There are multiple lakes, a huge waterfall, and easy/moderate hiking.

Orvis Hot Springs is a clothing optional hot springs over in Ridgway a little over an hour outside of Paonia. It is very private and relaxing and is also on the way to Ouray, we highly recommend it if you're interested in making a day trip!

There are tons of trails and sights to see on the drive up to Electric Mountain Lodge—our favorite thing on this drive is the giant aspen groves. The lodge also has good food and drinks!

The Needle Rock trail has great views and an easy to follow trail that we love! It's only about 1.5 miles round trip but it's very steep the whole way up, so definitely wear shoes with good traction
