French cafe with a cool scene. We like to go for a late dinner and some cocktails. Steak au poivre is the best in the city.

Neighborhoods
Shopping and people watching. Avoid broadway and get lost going up and down the smaller streets like Mulberry, Mott, Elizabeth, Mercer, Greene, Wooster.

My favorite place to take a stroll. Get a foot massage and grab some food at any of the awesome restaurants. I like to try random places and am usually pleasantly surprised.

Great to eat, drink, shop and stroll. Has a different energy than Manhattan… less city noise but still very jam packed with things to do. A bit touristy but still cool. Smorgasburg, the waterfront, Bedford Avenue etc…

It’s how Williamsburg “used to be”… Its cool and doesn’t have an apple store yet ;) Still a large Polish community so take a walk around check out the shops and cafes… then maybe grab some polish food!

Great views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. While the Seaport itself is a bit touristy… The neighborhood itself is kind of experiencing a renaissance. Think - cobblestone streets meet financial district. Lots of new restaurants and hang outs. Also a lot of history down there.

Getting around.
Everything is walkable unless you are going uptown or to the other boroughs. Take the subway if you want to save time. Traffic downtown can get pretty bad and you often move at a walking pace when going crosstown. The L train is on 14th Street and will take you to Union Square where you can catch almost all of the lines.
