On the way stop at the Lookout for views, walk Creators of the Moon track. Cross the bridge and see the steam from the thermal power pipes. After catching prawns go to Lava Glass and see glass blowing, walk around their great garden and refresh yourself at their cafe. What a great day out to see and experience lovely Taupo.

Also, a must to go on a lake tour, have a go at fishing for trout! and see the rock carvings. Drive to one of our lake bays for a picnic and swim with mountain views or just relax on the water front. Fantastic.
