The donuts are fabulous, don't get me wrong, but the fried chicken next door at Fritou is arguably the best in the city. I dare you to challenge me on this one.

They do take out and we recommend the sockeye salmon aburi oshi sushi, the deep fried angry cauliflower appy and fried brussel sprout appy. Loads to choose from on their menu and they are on the same block as Earnest Ice Cream, which is a nice one-two punch.

Local, boutique ice cream with amazing and original flavours. You can buy cones or take home your own pints for the freezer. They have dairy free options and point out which flavours have gluten in them.

This is a proper Ukrainian eatery that has a sit down menu and take out counter. We always get our perogies from here and have been known to eat quite a few of their rum cakes, babkas and medovyk honey cakes...
