A local secret - in summer and winter a must go for aperitive, lunch or early dinner (reservation recommended, be aware that you need to do a steep 20min hike, but it's worth it, as well you can combine it with a great hike to majing "lake")

If there is a place with kind of a "high class" touch in Leukerbad this might be it. You can stick here for a drink or spend the evening with an exquisit dinner, some meat and a cup of wine. It's usually pretty crowded ($$$$)

This is an amazing place if you're up for a hike, doable for the whole family (approx. 3km / 45min one way). Great food, beautiful nature! Reservation is especially in high season a must!

Another great place to be combined with a hike. It's a short (but steep one). The cuisine is lovely. If you're up to, you can add the Majingsee hike. It's doable with the whole family.

It's a good place for a steak. Nicely renovated. There is as well a little playground for children within the Restaurant ($$$$).

The restaurant is run by a Swiss-Philippine family and very close to the apartment. Drop a visit if you're hungry and don't want to go far. It's casual and we liked so far everything which was delivered out of that cuisine (e.g "Züri Gschnetzlets", "Steaks", ...).

Torrent is a great place. In summer it's hiking, biking and monster ride. In winter it's skiing of course. Take the bus and jump out at the bus stop "Torrent Bahnen". Have fun!

In winter you can go sledding here (renting and transportation available)! As well there is a breathtaking cross-country langlauf) ski slope .

In winter you can go sledding here (renting and transportation available)! As well there is a breathtaking cross-country langlauf) ski slope .
The "alpentherme" is the second largest thermal / wellness in Leukerbad. It's maybe better for couples and adults. With family we recommend the "Leukerbad Therme". Great place to relax with a mountain view.

If you have an average up to good fitness level there is a beautiful hike to "clabinualp" or if you want to add some kilometers you can go the extra mile and add the Flüealp on the same route. If you do the whole trip to Flüealp from the apartment it's approx 4:30h and 800 hight meters. Please note that it is closed in winter season. You can check for more details and the open/close status on the leukerbad .ch website / tourist info.
